The DC Board of Medicine Has Opened the 2020 Physician License Renewal Portal October 13, 2020
Written by DC Health
The following is an email notification sent to DC Board of Medicine licensees on October 13, 2020.
#############################################
Dear Licensee,
DC Health is happy to announce that renewals for the Board of Medicine are now LIVE!
Prior to beginning the renewal process, all licensees are strongly encouraged to review the attached User Guide. As of 2018, DC Health is no longer utilizing paper renewal applications, so renewals must be completed online via our new licensure portal.
Our new licensure portal has enhanced features such as the ability to upload your continuing education documents and to receive a digital copy of your license within minutes of completing your renewal (if there no issues are identified). To help ensure no issues arise, licensees are encouraged to have any and all supplemental documents (e.g., responses to screening questions, proof of continuing education (CE), etc.) scanned and ready for upload before starting the renewal process.
Once you are ready, you may begin the renewal process by going to the DC Health Licensing Portal Page at:
https://doh.force.com/dchealthrenewals/s/portal-page
For licensees who've renewed previously, you will need to log in with the same credentials as the last renewal. For licensees renewing for the first time, you will need to create a new username and password.
If you are experiencing issues with your renewal that is not identified below, please submit a “case” to our Customer Support site at https://dohlicenseinfo.secure.force.com/support/.
Lastly, we want to remind all of our licensees that staff are working 100% remote due to COVID-19, and will continue due to do so for some time. Staff is doing their best to process all initial applications, renewal applications, and respond to questions in timely a manner as possible, and ask for your continued patients as we respond to all inquiries and cases on a first come, first serve basis.
