Primary Care Providers Are Uniquely Positioned To Care For Patients Living With Addiction August 25, 2022

Patients trust their Primary Care Provider (PCP) to manage their health concerns from head to toe as well as from the body to the mind and soul. The longitudinal relationship allows the PCP to build a solid foundation of trust with the patient, facilitating communication around sensitive issues. The primary care clinic can be a safe haven from siloed care and stigma.
