MSDC Seeking Nominees for 2025 Board Slate April 11, 2024

Written by MSDC Staff

The MSDC Nominating Committee is opening its call for volunteers and encourages members to consider applying for a Board position.

The MSDC bylaws require the Nominating Committee to create a slate of nominees for Board positions, including President-Elect, AMA delegation members, and at-large directors.

Nominees are required to be Active category members in good standing. The Nominating Committee also encourages these members interested in helping guide the Society over the next few years at a strategic level to consider applying.

Board terms are for two years. The MSDC Board meets five times a year in DC, as well as on an "as needed" basis during the year. Members are responsible for the oversight of the Society and will receive periodic updates and information from the Executive Vice President.

Those interested in applying or nominating a colleague may do so at msdc.org/forphysicians. Nominations must be submitted by May 15, 2024. Candidates may be contacted by the Nominating Committee with further questions or information as part of the process.
