Updates on Coronavirus Testing in the District
Physicians and health care teams must keep up-to-date on the coronavirus (2019-nCoV). This is an update of information for District practitioners.
The news media are extensively covering news about an outbreak of 2019-nCoV, commonly known as coronavirus. China has identified thousands of cases domestically, including outside of Wuhan City where the virus allegedly originated.
Increasingly, cases have been identified in other countries, including the United States. As of this week, three individuals have been tested in the District and one has tested negative. The other two have their test results pending.
DC Health has asked healthcare providers to remain vigilant and up-to-date on coronavirus information. Below is useful information from the District and federal government on 2019-nCoV:
