WellPrept Announces Strategic Partnership with MSDC
WellPrept has partnered with the Medical Society of the District of Columbia (MSDC), which will allow MSDC members full access to the full suite of WellPrept resources.
MSDC members will receive a 30% discount on WellPrept Pro or WellPrept Teams for the first 6 months. Membership in either package will include white glove onboarding, premium tech support, unlimited condition pages, the flexibility to add as many assistants as needed, and unlimited WellPrept Notify messages. After 6 months of membership, MSDC members will receive a continuing 12% discount on the ongoing rate.
WellPrept enables physicians and their teams to share essential medical information with patients before they arrive at their first appointment. WellPrept provides a single channel for confirming appointments and delivering basic information to patients, curated and provided by their providers. WellPrept offers a foundational library of selected seed content. Then, providers choose what resources to share, sourcing from existing materials or creating their own. Patients are able to complete guided research with the advance support of their physician. When patients arrive with a clear understanding of the basics, doctors don’t need to spend clinic time teaching basic anatomy and physiology. Office visits can be devoted to the personal, 1-on-1 interactions doctors find most impactful and that most benefit patients.
“This partnership is a tremendous opportunity for the MSDC. One of the primary concerns of our society is the well-being of our physicians. And, of course, we must support them in their efforts to provide the best care to their patients. This alliance allows us to offer our membership the ability to improve their clinic days while meaningfully optimizing their time spent with patients,” said Dock Winston, MD, MSDC president.
Created by urologist Dr. David Canes with his fellow physicians in mind, WellPrept requires no technical expertise and does not interfere with any existing systems. WellPrept is used by hundreds of doctors at leading medical institutions, including the Fox Chase Cancer Center, the University of Minnesota, the University of Chicago, and the Michigan Urological Surgery Improvement Collaborative (MUSIC).
The MSDC, founded in 1817, is the largest medical organization representing physicians in DC, with more than 3,000 members. The mission of MSDC is “to ensure physician and patient well-being in the District of Columbia through the promotion of high-quality accessible care in a changing healthcare environment.” Its core values are quality, equity, and compassion.
